Love & Connection

In a world full of distractions and challenges, fostering love and genuine connection is more important than ever—especially for those facing the daily struggles of poverty.  At Teaching Amor, we believe that the foundation of a strong community starts with strong families.  Unfortunately, when people are overwhelmed with the stress of survival—searching for their next meal or battling to make ends meet—there is little room for the love and support that every individual and family needs to thrive.

Many of the families we work with face additional challenges, such as addiction, abuse, and neglect, often rooted in feelings of depression or desperation.  We are committed to nurturing love and connection within these families because we know that a connected family is a stronger family.  By creating spaces where love, understanding, and support can flourish, we help families stay together and prepare them for success—both as individuals and as a unified whole.
